We are frequently asked this by clients who think we should have shared their projects on their social media accounts.

Faciotech is happy to take credit for all the projects we have worked on since our birth. However, we do not publicly take credit for projects considered high-security risks.

Faciotech performs system risk analysis to classify systems (endpoints, servers, and applications) into one of three risk categories: high, medium, or low-security risk.

Low Risk

·         System processes and/or stores public data

  • The system is easily recoverable and reproducible
  • The system provides an informational / non-critical service

We can take public credit for low-security-risk apps by sharing your URL or project screenshots. You are most likely to see screenshots of your project on our website and social media.

Moderate Risk

  • System processes and/or stores non-public or internal-use data
  • System is internally trusted by other networked systems
  • System provides a normal or important service

We only share the firm's name as a client, never the project, for medium-security risk apps or websites. We believe sharing the details of such projects would increase security threats. Projects such as CRMs and ERPs are considered medium-sized security risks.

High Risk

  • System processes and/or stores confidential or restricted data
  • System is highly trusted by UI networked systems
  • System provides a critical or company-wide service

High-security-risk projects are considered confidential and would go against our terms of service if we ever took credit for them. For example, projects like banking systems and school academic records systems are high-security risk projects, and the developers' identities should be kept secret.

Risk analysis considers the sensitivity of the data processed and stored by the system and the likelihood and impact of potential threat events. We use a simple methodology to translate these probabilities into risk levels and an overall system risk level.
