FacioTech Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
1. Introduction
FacioTech provides web hosting, cloud, and related services to customers worldwide. To ensure a secure, reliable, and fair environment for all users, this Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines activities that are strictly prohibited on our network and servers.
By using FacioTech services, you agree to comply with this AUP, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Prohibited Activities
2.1 Spam & Unsolicited Communications
- Sending bulk, unsolicited, or deceptive email (“spam”) is strictly prohibited.
- Use of FacioTech servers for mailing lists, purchased databases, or email harvesting is not permitted.
2.2 Illegal or Harmful Content
You may not host, share, or transmit content that:
- Infringes intellectual property or copyright.
- Promotes hate, discrimination, harassment, or violence.
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors.
- Encourages illegal activity in any jurisdiction.
2.3 Malicious Use
- Distribution of viruses, malware, Trojan horses, worms, or spyware is forbidden.
- Activities such as phishing, hacking, denial of service (DoS/DDoS), or port scanning are not allowed.
3. Resource Usage Restrictions
3.1 Server Resources
- Accounts may not consume excessive CPU, memory, or bandwidth in ways that negatively affect other users.
- Scripts, bots, or cron jobs designed to bypass resource limits are prohibited.
3.2 Fair Use
- FacioTech hosting services operate on a shared infrastructure.
- We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that cause service degradation due to uncontrolled usage.
4. Security & Accountability
- Customers are fully responsible for maintaining strong passwords and securing their accounts.
- Outdated or vulnerable software (e.g., CMS plugins, themes, scripts) must be regularly updated to prevent exploitation.
- Users must not attempt to bypass security features or gain unauthorized access to systems.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to [email protected] with as much detail as possible (URLs, logs, evidence).
6. Enforcement & Consequences
- Warnings/Suspensions: Accounts found in violation may be suspended with or without prior notice.
- Termination: Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account closure.
- Legal Action: FacioTech reserves the right to report illegal activities to authorities and pursue legal remedies.
7. Policy Updates
FacioTech may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest version. Customers are encouraged to review the policy regularly.
