Upgrading or downgrading your hosting package allows you to adjust resources as your website’s needs change.

**Upgrading or downgrading from the client area**

1. Log in to your client area at Faciotech.
2. Go to **Services** › **My Services**.
3. Click **View Details** for the hosting service you wish to upgrade or downgrade.
4. Select **Upgrade/Downgrade** and choose your desired plan.
5. Review the price difference and confirm your order. The system will generate a prorated invoice for the difference and automatically apply the change once payment has been received.

**How proration works**

When you change your hosting plan, the remaining value of your current package is credited against the cost of the new package and your next due date remains the same. You only pay the difference for the upgraded plan or receive a credit for the unused portion when downgrading.

**Upgrading or downgrading via support**

If you prefer our team to handle the process, open a support ticket from within your client area. A representative will generate the upgrade or downgrade request for you and send you an invoice. Once payment is completed, the system will update your hosting package automatically.
